The Myth - A bullet strikes a cavalry man's tibia, ricochets into his genitals, and then hits a woman, making her pregnant, during a Civil War battle.
Verdict - Busted
Notes - After verifying that the bullet had enough momentum to travel after hitting a tibia in ballistics gel, they tried getting 'Genetic Material' (sperm) to survive the travel on the bullet into ballistic gel that represented a womb. However, they couldn't find any in the entry wound of the gel. They tried a second attempt much closer to the gel, but no 'Genetic Material' was found in the gel. [1]
